Walmart & Sam’s Club #HelpKidsLiveBetter!

Thank you to our Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, hospital champions, and incredibly generous community members for rallying together to help local kids. The recent four week in-store campaign raised over $126,000 in support of the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The best part – every dollar raised at our 23 participating locations, stays in our community to help the young patients and families cared for at Albany Med. Thanks to our friends at Walmart and Sam’s Club for partnering with our hospital to help local children live better! Proceeds from this campaign help kids like our 2019 Champion, Logan Fogg.

Logan Fogg, of Scotia, New York, was diagnosed at 3 ½ months old with congenital glioblastoma, a malignant pediatric brain tumor so rare that there are fewer than 100 documented cases worldwide. Through the expert, compassionate care he received at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med, Logan underwent several rounds of chemotherapy and more than 15 surgeries before being declared cancer free in July 2018. “We were very lucky to have Albany Med in our backyard,” said Logan’s mother, Jennifer Fogg.
